Why Do You Need a Lawyer After an Accident or Death?

Not every injury or death will necessitate a personal injury or wrongful death lawsuit, and not every person will need a lawyer after an accident. However, it does not cost anyone any money to have an experienced attorney discuss and review the situation. This way, people can know for sure that they have done everything possible to hold a responsible party accountable and ensure all their expenses are paid to the fullest extent of the law. In this video, attorney Daniel Jeck explains how a person who experienced an injury or loss has nothing to lose by discussing the incident with a lawyer.

When I hear about a tragedy involving a death or a very serious injury to someone, I always tell them the same thing. That it’s absolutely worth the time and effort and emotional expense to have us look into it. We do it in a very caring way, in a very discreet way, so that we get the facts and we make the decision whether or not there are enough facts there to put a case together. If there aren’t, then we let the family know that it’s been investigated thoroughly and that there may not be enough to put a case together. However, if there are enough facts and there is liability, potential liability there, then we tell the family at the appropriate time that we believe that there’s enough here to move forward, and then we get the permission to move forward with the case. But any time anyone has been tragically injured, whether there’s a death or very serious harm to somebody, we always advise to take a look at it. Let us look into it. Let us investigate it. Let us gather facts and see whether there was someone responsible for what happened. For more information about our firm, go to ERlegal.com and check out our website.
