Combi USA in cojuction with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is recalling 33,000 child car seats because the harnesses do not meet federal safety standards. The harnesses of the recalled seats are not strong enough and in the event of a crash the child may not be properly secured.
The recalled seats were manufactured before January 2013 and the following models were named in the recall: Coccoro, Zeus Turn and Zeus 360. Combi will notify owners of defective seats and offer a free replacement kit starting in February 2014.
