Six More Patients Infected After Knee Injections

Six more patients were identified as having contracted infections due to knee injections they received at a Wall Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey clinic. Originally, health inspectors discovered on Monday that about 30 patients contracted infections. Twenty of those patients required surgery to treat the infections they contracted. The facility reopened on Tuesday with state and local inspectors present to monitor the infection-control practices. An investigation of the clinic and its practices continues.
