Nancy J. Winkler, Esq., a partner at Eisenberg Rothweiler Winkler Eisenberg & Jeck P.C., was elected President of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, at the organization’s annual meeting held at the Rittenhouse Hotel. One of Pennsylvania’s oldest trial lawyer organizations, PTLA is comprised of attorneys who are dedicated to preservation of the American legal system and working to protect the rights of all individuals to seek justice in the Courts. Ms. Winkler is the fourth woman to preside over PTLA in its 54-year history.
Working hard to protect the rights of innocent victims has been at the heart of Ms. Winkler’s career. For 26 years, she has represented individuals and their families in the litigation of complex personal injury matters involving automobile defects, product liability, pharmaceutical liability, medical malpractice, toxic exposure, construction accidents, falls and automobile/trucking accidents.
Ms. Winkler also serves on the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and is a member of local and state bar associations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and the American Association for Justice. In 2008, she was inducted as a Fellow of Litigation Counsel of America.
Recognitions Ms. Winkler has received include being selected as one of the Top 50 Women Attorneys in Pennsylvania in 2011, 2012 and 2013 and as a Super Lawyer for 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013. She is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Ms. Winkler received the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association’s President’s Award in 2002 and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice Service Award in 2009. Winkler also co-authored the book Pennsylvania Automobile Litigation; Guidelines and Forms for the Trial Lawyer; Third Edition. She routinely volunteers her time to take on pro bono cases for the indigent.
