During the life of a case it’s not just about the ultimate resolution of the case, it’s about having the client understand the process, helping the client during the process, the process can often take a couple of years, during that process there are issues that come up that we help them with, that have nothing to do with being a lawyer. It has to do with maybe the client not being able to get a wheelchair fixed, or having the insurance company pay for a wheelchair, we’ll help them with that. It may be not having the right nurse be at the home with them, we’ll help them with that. We have access to many different types of people, with all different types of experiences that can help our very injured clients have dignity and have hope during the process. While we’re doing that we work hard on their cases obviously, to get them ready for trial, but here it’s more than that, it’s about, it’s about a relationship, it’s about friendship, it’s about dignity, it’s about honesty, and it’s about hope. And through the process there are many clients that don’t understand what’s happening, they don’t understand why things happen, they don’t have answers, they don’t really know why something went wrong at a hospital, why something went wrong with their car. As things develop, as things unfold, we share all the information with them, we tell them this is what happened, this is what our experts say, we share information with them about what the defense says, so that they know the process, they understand the pros and cons of moving forward with the case.
