Ken Rothweiler and Daniel Jeck of Eisenberg, Rithweiler, Winkler, Eisenberg, and Jeck, P.C. represented a client, Paul Finegan, a roofing supervisor and estimator, who was injured when he was struck and pinned by the blades of a forklift that had been inappropriately braked while he had been picking up roofing supplies at the defendant's company. Mr. Finegan claimed that, in addition to crush injuries to his thigh, he suffered permanent nerve damage to his leg that prevented him from returning to his former employment which entailed climbing high ladders and surveying roofs. Defendants vigorously disputed the extent of Mr. Finegan's injury. After a week-long trial, a jury returned a verdict in favor of Mr. Fiegan and his wife in the amount of $1,125,000.00.
