Fredric Eisenberg & Todd Schoenhaus Discuss Historic $265 Million Amtrak Settlement at CLE

A recent Continuing Legal Education (CLE) presentation involved an in-depth review of the historic $265 million Amtrak settlement. The CLE was held at Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law in Philadelphia on Tuesday, November 22 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Stewart J. Eisenberg and Daniel J. Sherry, Jr. Present a Seminar on Vehicle Rollover Liability

At a national conference dedicated to auto defects and crashworthiness, Stewart Eisenberg and Dan Sherry, Jr. presented a seminar on Commercial and Modified Vehicle Rollover Liability. Using a previously resolved case as an example, Eisenberg and Sherry showed attendees how to create and effectively use animation to prove liability in a rollover case.

Stewart J. Eisenberg Presents Seminar at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute

Stewart J. Eisenberg was a course planner and presenter at “A Day on Personal Injury” presented by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. Eisenberg used a case he tried last summer as an example to show attendees how to effectively try an auto defect case. His seminar stressed the importance of gathering multiple experts to link the defect to the injury. The trial ended with a verdict of $55.3 million for the plaintiff and was the highest personal injury verdict in Pennsylvania in 2014.

Nancy Winkler Serves on Chancellor’s Leadership Institute Panel Hosted by the Philadelphia Bar Association

Nancy Winkler, Esquire, recently reflected on her leadership in the legal community and her litigation experience in complex personal injury matters as part of a Chancellor’s Leadership Institute panel hosted by the Philadelphia Bar Association. The panel highlighted the historic number of women currently serving as leaders of bar associations and legal organizations across the region. For more than two decades, Ms. Winkler has represented individuals and their families in the litigation of complex personal injury matters involving automobile defects, product liability, pharmaceutical liability, medical malpractice, toxic exposure, construction accidents, falls and automobile/trucking accidents. Kenneth Rothweiler Lectures at 2011 PAJ Annual Retreat

Ken Rothweiler was a course planner and presenter at the 2011 Pennsylvania Association for Justice (PAJ) Annual Retreat. Rothweiler presented two seminars over the three day retreat that was held this year in Philadelphia at the Westin Hotel. A Conversation with Tom Kline was an engaging discussion between two of Pennsylvania’s preeminent trial attorneys. Rothweiler, the incoming PAJ President, sat down with Kline to candidly discuss what the two great trial lawyers have learned over the course of their illustrious careers. Rothweiler also presented, Do we Still Have a Constitution? with the Honorable Judge Andrew P. Napolitano. The seminar discussed the loss of constitutionally guaranteed rights throughout American history up to and including today.
