Eisenberg, Rothweiler, Winkler, Eisenberg, and Jeck, P.C is proud to announce that Nancy J. Winkler has been elected to the office of Vice President of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association (PTLA) at the annual election meeting on June 16, 2011. She will become President in 2013.
Winker has been a PTLA board member since 1998. She served as comptroller of the association from 2007 and 2009 and previously served as the treasurer. In 2002, Winkler received the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association's President's Award in recognition of her devotion to advancing the goals of the organization.
"The court system is the only place where an individual can go up against a large corporation and obtain redress for their injuries," said Winkler. "I believe that we must work hard to keep the courthouse doors open and the playing field level for our clients."
The Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association is an active professional organization comprised of civil and criminal litigation attorneys. PTLA has been in existence for over 45 years and is the oldest trial lawyer organization in Pennsylvania. The association is made up of lawyers who are dedicated to the preservation of the American legal system and the protection of the evolution of the common law through the efforts of individual lawyers who are pledged to achieving common goals.
