The Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association recently appointed Dino Privitera to the editorial board of its monthly publication Verdict. Privitera will play an important role in informing the region's trial lawyers of arbitration awards, jury verdicts and settlements, as well as recent developments in Pennsylvania appellate law.
"I am committed to raising professional standards for all trial lawyers in the Greater Philadelphia region and educating my peers on the latest developments in our field," Privitera said. "On the Verdict's editorial board, I look forward to providing well-researched and timely articles that will help attorneys serve their clients in a fair and productive way."
Privitera began his career as a law clerk in U.S. District Court and gained extensive experience in bench and jury trials as a Philadelphia prosecutor. He is widely recognized for handling the first ever case of a former Iraqi interpreter applying for special U.S. residency status and aiding the interpreter in testifying about the plight of Iraqi refugees before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee.
